Body shop's Radiant Highlighter

This was an impulse buy, I don’t like to buy things without reading about them first but the sales assistant in the shop recommended it.

Once I got it home I read a few reviews, some were really good, some were really bad.
I was even thinking about returning it after I read that it was most suited to lighter skin tones but for the sake of this review I decided to try it.

I now understand why it is most suited to lighter skin tones. It’s a pearly pink colour but when worn it does leave a nice glow to your cheek bones (or anywhere else you want to draw attention too). The only problem is, when you look at it up close you can actually see product – It looks silver.  On lighter skin tones, I imagine that it wouldn’t stand out as much.

Looking at it from a far… its lovely – It slightly catches the light. It lasts all day unless it’s a hot day. I feel it works better in artificial light then bright sun light. I found the best way to apply this, is on top of your liquid foundation with a sponge - Blend in well by tapping the product on. Then apply blusher. This way, you can tone down the sliver while keeping the glow.

Would I buy this product again? – NO. One, I don’t think I will run out of it and two I prefer the shimmer power – which cost slightly more but I’m happier with it.

Bit of a confusing product for me because I’m still unsure about it. The good thing about body shop is they will give you testers – ask for one and try it out - let me know what you think.

In hindsight, I should have asked for a tester instead of paying £12 for it – but the sales assistant was very good at her job.  :)
