Some people are really sensible when it comes to shopping and they only purchase things they need or would have brought “full price” but wait until this day for a bargain. I am awful at this, I love a bargain, regardless of what it is, if its reduced, its already caught my eye.
However, this year, I made a plan of what I needed/wanted and was going to stick to it. Until I got into the shops and saw all the lovely reduced tags. My plan quickly turned into an epic fail.
I had planned to get 3 items, yes, only 3.
1. Lacoste – a touch of pink.
2. Elizabeth Arden – red door
3. A nice watch – I’ve had my eye set on an MK watch for ages, but its always out of stock (mk3191) I have managed to buy “a touch of pink” and a DKNY watch, the mirror affect one in rose gold. This was the backup watch I wanted. I did however pay less then what I was planning on spending, which is a bonus.
I’m still looking for a gift box set of Red door. Fingers crossed, I find it tomorrow.
A side from this, I have picked up, a black lace dress. I don’t know if I’m going to keep this as its not very hijab friendly around the shoulders. A statement necklace, two hijabs; one floral and one paisley print, an eye shadow kit, which contains 12 very pretty colours and a large maroon clutch. I also picked up black sequin jacket, it has a very 1920s style to it, which is exactly what I need for a themed work do I’m attending next month.
Apart from my original plan, the only extra item I brought that I really needed was the sequin jacket, everything else was only purchased because of the red labels on them.
I need serious help when it comes to sales. I’m always OTT with everything and I loose my senses when I see the sale tag. Any tips on how to stay in control when sale shopping are most welcome.
I don’t dislike any of the stuff I brought; I just didn’t need any of it at all.
O well…pictures to follow, let me know what you think.
