Cannes film festival... Aishwarya

I know I'm a bit late in the day for this but I just had to say, Aishwarya Rai Bachan  pulled all the stops out for the Cannes film festival.

She looked absolutely amazing on the red carpet in her gold strapless Cavalli dress. Her soft curls and neutral makeup added beautiful to her show stopping lips. Which, her stylist perfectly matched with the red carpet! 

Party makeup...

I was asked recently to do my friends makeup for a wedding she was attending...

The eye shadow colours are from superdrugs @MuaCosmetics range...
Very pigmented colours, very impressed! The "up all night" palette is definitely a good purchase.

I used the light shade from the "undressed" palette as a highlight on the browbone. The "undressed" palette is amazing and I use all the time for everyday neutral looks!

Sorry it's been a while... Good news, I have some time off for work so will be writing all the reviews I haven't got round to doing.

This post however is slightly different... I wanted to post a painting I have done recently...

It's inspired by a Rumi poem...

"They say there is a doorway from heart to heart, but what use is a doorway when there are no walls?"
