Hey everyone, firstly I just wanted to say thank
you so much for sticking by me through my blogging absence. I have been
super-duper busy with work, I have been working a ridicules amount of hours
this month – so I am always tired.
Before I
get started on this product that I have been using for the last few weeks, I
just wanted to say, follow me on twitter, @London_blogger1, I post random stuff
on there.
Anyway, so today I am reviewing the Garnier Moisture Match, Wake Me Up
"Revitalising Hydrating Gel".
This
product has been out for a while, but for some odd reason, I never came across
it until now. The Moisture match comes in a range of 5 different products,
aimed for every type of skin type. I picked this one because it is for “dull
skin”, and I really do feel like my skin needs a “pick me up”. The product
looked perfect.
It comes
in an oil free gel form for sensitive skin. The first time I wore this product,
it did make my skin tingle, in a slight uncomfortable way. That’s never
happened again with it, so I doubt that the gel actually caused that.
I have
been using this product every day for the last three weeks and to be honest I
haven’t actually noticed a difference in my skins appearance or texture. Saying
that, I still like this product. It has a lovely smell to it and glides on to
your skin. It’s very fast absorbing so there no waiting around before you can
start applying your makeup. Maybe I didn’t pick the right one for my skin and
that’s why I feel like it didn’t do anything for my skin?
I don’t
know, either way, I don’t regret buying this product or it definitely won’t
stop me from tying on another on in the range.
Pros:
- Absorbs into the skin fast so you don't have
to wait around to apply your make up.
- Oil free so doesn't leave your skin feeling
greasy.
- Smells really fresh and delicate.
- Suitable for sensitive skin sufferers like me.
Cons:
- Really light formulation and texture so
doesn't always feel like it's giving a deep hydration which may be a
problem for people with dry skin.
- A little pricey at £5.99 for a 50ml tube.
- Didn’t do what it said on the tin.
Let me know what you think.
